SILVANIA sparkling wine is part of the elite of rare Romanian sparkling wines, obtained by the traditional "Champenoise" method, namely by the natural re-fermentation of wine in glass, for up to 3 years. Throughout this long period it is mandatory that the humidity and temperature (12 degrees Celsius) be constant. These conditions can only be obtained in deep and extensive meadows such as those at Măgura Şimleului, located 60 m below the rock, with galleries 3.5 km long.
